Frequently Asked
Questions
What age range do you typically work with?
I love working with people in their 20’s and 30’s. Shout-out to my millennials!
Though those are the ages of people I typically work with, I think people of all ages are awesome and if we are a good match, that’s the most important factor. Finding a therapist can be really hard since we are all so different. For that reason I like to offer a free 20 minute consultation so you can see if we are a good match before you make any kind of commitment.
Do you work with couples?
I usually identify one person who is my client and if he/she wants to bring their spouse/partner into sessions with them, I am happy to meet that need.
Do you take insurance?
I take private pay only (credit/debit card, cash, Venmo, etc.), so unfortunately I do not take insurance. To learn more about fees, click here.
What are you like in therapy?
That’s an important question, so read more about me here. If you’ve ever been to Psychology Today, you know that finding the right therapist is an overwhelming process! Studies show that a large percentage of success in therapy depends on the connection between you and your therapist. That’s why I offer a free 20 minute consultation so we can meet and see if we are a good match before making a commitment.
I’m pretty sure that you are the therapist for me. What do I do next?
Awesome! Click here for the next steps.
Can we meet online?
Absolutely! Find out more about online therapy here.
I have a psychiatrist and other professionals in my life. Are you cool with coordinating with them?
Of course! I am happy to coordinate care with anyone who is helping you. All you need to do is sign a release and we will come up with a plan so we are all on the same page.
